"Autism & Memoirs of an Old Maid"…C'hele's Story

May 14, 2007

The blinding sun

Bursts behind pillowy colours

Of grey, white, blue and rose

Shining through almost barren trees

Whose shrivelled leaves quiver

In a soft yet chilly breeze

Lighting up iridescent rain-drops

That lie upon stiff, emerald-green Juniper

Seagulls and Crows glide with ease

Underneath the opened gate-

Celebrating the orb’s returning warmth

I gaze at all the dazzling light

But only for a moment-

It was all that Mother Nature

Could afford me

I absolutely love

Those kinds of bargains.
