A wildflower freshly picked

A fond smile sent on a bleak day

A loving unexpected caress

A favourite confection left behind

A surprise kiss on the nape of the neck

A found note with the words:

“I can’t live without you…”

This is love

not camouflaged in gold and diamonds

Real love dazzles the senses like all the colours

Of a full rainbow.
