Autism: C'hele's Story

An Ancient Calling

Oh, how the great expanse attempts to tempt me

I am weak,

But Spirit is stronger

The reflection in the lake

Mirrors my need to be true

And reminds me of what is sacred

Rebirth me as the vultures only know how

Let me taste again, the salt of the earth

And feel the authenticity of the stability of rock

Let the silence become my voice

And the wind be my truest companion

Allow my soul to flow with the elements

And allow all the Love…to again, fly free.

Namaste.

  1. Wow. Lots of strong visuals. I really like the line about the vultures. It’s beautiful C’hele.

  2. Thank you! When I wrote it, I was in a state of flow as I like to term it. It sometimes scares me, what comes out of my head at times, *chuckle.*
