One Glorious Winter’s Day At The Beach~

It was a cold and very blustery day…

An Eagle visited in the tree above me…as did the remnances of his previous meal…….(*gross!*)

The surf was restless as was the grasses on the beach…

My daughter walking on the left and myself posing on the right. I look like crap, but I didn’t care at the time.

Due to the high winds and extreme cold, we lasted only 45 minutes on the trails.  But, it was heaven on earth while it lasted.

  1. How precious it is to spend time with those we love, especially out enjoying nature. I love going to the beach. Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures!

  2. Despite the wind, it looks like a wonderful day! The temperature is dropping again here, but it’s been in the 60’s….and rainy. Sleep weather! (You DO NOT look like crap!)

  3. Holley: Your welcome!

Vron: *sheepish grin* Well…..I thought so. Not one to let that get me down, I didn’t care and had fun anyways !

  4. OK … that photo of the eagle and the dead thing is one of the funniest pictures I’ve seen in quite a long time.

  6. Great evidence that beauty and joy are where you find them. I’ll have to go look for some tomorrow. Thanks for the post!

  7. It does look and sound like you had a grand day at the beach. Forty-five minutes is way longer than I last. I don’t get along with the beach, especially when it is blustery.

And you don’t look like crap! Not even close!
