"Autism & Memoirs of an Old Maid"…C'hele's Story

“I’ve missed you…..”

This is how I awoke this morning at approximately 07:35. I saw no visuals. All I heard was a male voice speak in my ear this:

“I missed you yesterday,

I missed you even more today,

I’ve missed you like crazy,

Although we’ve been apart.”

I immediately woke up with a start and frantically searched to find a piece of paper and pen in my nightstand in order to write this down before I forgot. The poem has not left my mind all day…..

  1. Wait, this was in a nice, nonstalkerish way right? That poem could really go either way.

  2. Nice poem. What were you dreaming?

  3. Corina – I wasn’t dreaming of anything. At least I dont remember any visual pictures of anything. The voice as it spoke to me this poem, I remember was soft but not like a whisper. I dont recognize the voice either- he spoke clearly without any accent. After the poem was recited, I woke up with such a start that my heart was literally pounding in my chest. Really strange.

Waxing – Considering that I had never heard of the voice before, it was anything but stalkerish or otherwise. Simple as it is, it is a rather nice poem. 🙂

  4. And I have to add- no, I’ve never heard “voices” before, so its not Schizophrenia! 😉
